Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (中南财经政法大学or ZUEL; colloquially known as zhōng nán cái dà) is a university located in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province in China. The current president is Yang CanMing (杨灿明).
ZUEL is made up of 19 schools, 51 undergraduate programs, 104 master programs, 57 doctoral programs and 6 post-doctoral programs. Popular programs at ZUEL include Economics, International Law and Chinese Literature.
According to http://www.cuaa.net/cur/2016/ (2016), ZUEL is ranked 76th among Chinese universities.
Founded in 1948 as Zhongyuan University, it later it became the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law after several mergers and separations throughout the Chinese cultural revolution with other Chinese universities. ZUEL enrolls over 20,000 full-time undergraduates, 6,000 postgraduate students, 900 doctoral students and post-doctoral students, over 9,000 adult students, and at least 400 international students.
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is open to all educators, scholars and students from all over the world.
