Q&A with Dean Reynolds

Despite a 12 hours time difference, Dean accepted a call conference with Wuhan Social writer Godefroy Lepy (GL) that we have reproduced here.

GL: You will be in Wuhan at the end of this month for a special conference about music publishing?

DR: So the seminar will be a chance for me to not only learn more about Wuhanese artists but also an opportunity to share insights on how to build a musical career, publish and protect their work.

GL: Why hold this seminar in Wuhan?

DR: The musical life here is very developed and still on the growth. As I said, my visit is also an opportunity for more exposure with the local musicians. June 30th will be an opportunity to learn more about a pursuing a musical career: whether in China or in the US, and to know more musicians through networking. There will also be a talk by a representative of South by Southwest (SXSW) on the benefits of enrolling for their annual events.
